Hello everyone, my name is Damien Patton. For those who would like to know a little about me, please allow me to introduce myself. I have done a wide variety of things thus far in my life – from the Navy to NASCAR – from crime scene investigator to entrepreneur.

After serving in the military during Desert Storm, I enjoyed a successful ten-year career in NASCAR as Chief Mechanic for the Lowe’s Racing Team and pit crew jackman for several other top NASCAR teams.

During my years in NASCAR, I developed an interest in business, so I worked my way through college and graduated magna cum laude from University of North Carolina at Greensborough with a B.S. in Finance.

After graduating, I left NASCAR for the opportunity to run a large construction development company and subsequently served as COO for a technology company.

Being in the corporate world, I longed to do something exciting that would also help the community, so I enrolled in law enforcement courses. After my training, I volunteered for two years as a crime scene investigator for the Davidson, North Carolina police department, where I also trained detectives to solve crimes.

Working in the corporate world also sparked my desire for business ownership, so eventually I founded and managed Pacific Imports International (PII). PII started as a distributor of hardwood and bamboo flooring and expanded into a large contract manufacturer with offices in Las Vegas, Hawaii and China. I sold the company in 2007.

Recently—at the age of 35—after realizing success as an entrepreneur, I decided to utilize my past experience in the flooring industry to create a new company called FindAnyFloor.com.

I conceptualized, orchestrated and currently manage the day-to-day operations of FindAnyFloor.com, which has become the largest flooring information resource for consumers and social community for flooring industry professionals on the internet.

One of my passions is to be certain that FindAnyFloor.com is accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. Many websites do not accommodate individuals with disabilities. My goal is to ensure that everyone—regardless of their ability—can make full use of the site, with the hope that other websites will follow suit.
